I am a graduate of Kennedy High School in Kennedy, AL. I received my Bachelor of Music degree from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, MS. In 1989 I received a Bachelor's of Elementary Education from the University of  Alabama. I later completed my Master of Education at MUW. It has been a joy and a privilege to hopefully inspire and guide these young minds. I have enjoyed being a teacher in Lamar County for 28 !/2 years. Twenty-seven of those years have been here at South Lamar. I am looking forward to the new school year. It is always such a Blessing.
